Are you in need of sprucing up a room but are just not sure what to do? As I've said before, a little paint can make a huge impact.
One technique I've been using often is applying the same color in two different tones. The contrast of light and dark creates a great look!
Look at a fan deck and select your favorite color, then select one of the two lighter shades and one of the two darker shades. You can do several different things with these two chosen colors. Try painting three walls the lighter tone and one accent wall the darker color. Painting a room with a chair rail? Paint the area above lighter and area below the rail darker.
