I have a suggestion for a great little antique shop. It's called Mattie's Heritage Antiques and is in the Frenchtown area of historic St. Charles. I've been there several times and always looking forward to returning. It's not your typical antique store with so much stuff it gives you a feeling of sensory overload! They have a pretty small store but have it filled with gorgeous antiques tastefully displayed. You can find small pieces to large chests and tables that are in excellent quality. The owners are a husband and wife who are extremely nice and will answer any of your questions.
