Spring at Pier 1 Imports

I'm a huge fan of Pier 1 Imports. They have so many fun and unique accessories.

Here are some of my favorite new spring pieces.
This Crazy Weave Iron Elephant is $99.95.
The Urban Round Mirror has a really great antiqued nickel finish. It retails for $79.95.
The Embossed Crimson Tile panel measures approximately 31" x 31" and is $69.95. It's a great statement piece.
This Peacock Blue Recycled Glass Vase is approximately 39" tall and $59.95.
These great Terracotta Desk Frames are only $10.00 each.

Its hard to believe but there are still people out there who don't know about Etsy. Etsy.com is a wonderful website full of handmade and vintage items. Search for a handmade scarf for your sister, handmade blankets for your little ones, even decorative accessories for the home. You're sure to find great, meaningful gifts for everyone on your list.

Birds

I normally do not care for some trends that are cutsey. For example a couple years ago, monkeys were a big thing. You'd see monkey print fabric, monkey accessories.....monkeys everywhere. Then dragonflies were big. Birds seem to be the thing now and I actually like them. They're delicate and not cheesy at all. I keep finding myself drawn to accessories with a delicate bird perched on a branch.

Here are some pieces I've found.

This bird hook is available at World Market.

This cute plate also comes in green and red and is available at Pier 1.

This tray is a little more modern and a good choice if you're not sure about the whole bird trend. To purchase this tray visit MyDeco.com

I love this feminine piece! You can find it at Pottery Barn.
