2013's Color of the Year was Lemon Sorbet. I love how they stayed with a soft shade this year too. While it's not anything really unexpected, its a very pretty color and I look forward to using it!

New Benjamin Moore Colors

Benjamin Moore has just come out with a new "Candice Olson Designer Picks" fan deck of colors.

This deck of colors are Candice's 60 favorite Benjamin Moore color tones.

 

The "Devine Design" host considers this fan deck a "sophisticated, nature-inspired collection of timeless, unique color combinations for any room in your home."

Well I certainly look forward to using them! I'll be sure to let you know my favorites.

Turquoise

I'm so excited to be moving into my new home and am I ever excited to decorate the rooms! I have been considering paint colors and am particularly being drawn to turquoise colors.

Turquoise which is a blueish tone of light green and is based on the turquoise gem. When decorating with this color, consider all the different tones from a deep turquoise, to a pale dusty tone.
