Wood Home Decor

Bring the outdoors in with some natural, beautiful wood décor.

You can find great pieces of décor in exotic woods like Acacia or Sapele, or stick to the common Oak or Maple.  Either way, you’ll be right on trend and love the ambiance the simple wood décor creates.

Here are some great ideas of how to add wood décor to your home

Kensington Dining Table

I've always wanted a large dining room table. I grew up in a family that sat down to the dinner table every night. Setting the table was always important and so was using your dinner table manners. I think that is why I'm a little bit of an old fashioned gal. Of course one of the highlights of getting married was selecting my china and now finally having room for a large dining table is another major happening.

Anyway, I'm so happy that my new GORGEOUS dining table arrived today from Arhaus! Not only do they have amazing furniture and accessories, but I also love it that their headquarters are here in Cleveland.

Now I can't wait to come up with place setting and tablescape ideas and of course I'll definitely share them with you!

Reclaimed Wood Furniture

The character in antique wood is simply stunning, so why not recycle it? Furniture makers using reclaimed wood acquire their wood from mostly old barns but also old factories and warehouses and even shipping crates.

This bookshelf from Seven Wonders Furniture is actually made from railroad wood.
Antique Woodworks used reclaimed wood for gorgeous counter tops.
Reclaimed wood even works great in contemporary interiors like this table from a Custom Made furniture maker.

Not only does the wood have character, but also history. Imagine the story behind some of these pieces of furniture.

This great trestle table is from Cottage Home where you can order your custom dining table using reclaimed wood.
Check out Etsy.com for these nice pieces.
