I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. Now it's back to work, but fortunately it's a short week! 

To keep my creative juices flowing over the holiday weekend I focused on flower arrangements. I created this simple arrangement below for my dining table and researched new floral design trends.

During my research I started getting into the different flowers and their meanings and thought I'd share this information with you!

Hydrangeas: Sincerity, Perseverance and Heartfelt Emotions

Daffodil: Rebirth and New Beginnings

Tulips: Elegance and Grace

White Lilly: Chastity and Virtue

Calla Lily: Purity

Carnation: Love, Fascination and Distinction

Sunflowers: Pride and Adoration

When discussing roses, each color of rose has a different meaning.....

Red Rose: Passion and Desire

White Rose: Purity

Yellow Rose: Friendship, Get Well

Orange Rose: Fascination

Pink Rose: Friendship
